Click here for details. Mentoring for Year 10 Since September 2004, 90 Year 10 pupils are benefiting from an Employer-Mentoring Programme set up in conjunction with Careers Wales. Click here for more details. A new scheme in partnership with the University of Wales Newport has now started enabling a further 18 pupils to benefit from having a personal Mentor. Tredegar Comprehensive School is the most improved school in South East Wales. Click here for details. The Art Department at the school held a very impressive exhibition of 'A Level' pupils' work on Wednesday 7th and Thursday 8th July from 5.30 PM to 7.00 PM at the Gateway Building, Tredegar Business Park. We have some wonderful young artists at the school and this was an exciting opportunity for them to display their work in public. Thanks to all who attended to concert to hear the Blaenavon Male Voice Choir, the School Choir & instrumentalists on 24 June 2004. The proceeds (just under £500) will help to offset the costs of voluntary work in Ghana (Ian McFarlane) and Costa Rica (Annwyn Bufton).
